Top 8 things to do in Indy this weekend: Dec. 8-10

Breakfast with Santa

There are just 3 weekends left until jolly old St. Nicholas comes to town, but you can catch him early this year at several breakfasts and dinners planned around town. While the events at Conner Prairie sold out early, there are still a few other options in and around town.

The Crossbridge Community Church in Avon is hosting their “Mended Little Hearts of Indianapolis” Breakfast with Santa this Saturday from 9-11 a.m. featuring fun games, crafts, yummy breakfast and, of course… Santa! Tickets are $7 and proceeds from this event will help fund bravery bags that will be delivered to children at Riley Hospital for Children and Peyton Manning Children’s Hospital who are affected by congenital heart defects.

Mrkt Ball 2017

The Mrkt Ball is a black-tie and/or costume gala (poodle skirts welcome) with a 1950’s rock-and-roll theme which benefits the City Market. Tickets are a bit steep at $125 a piece, but get you in the door and allow access to food, booze and all fair-like fun festivities. The event starts at the Historic Market House on Dec. 9 at 7 p.m.
