INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) - Saturday, Butler University hosts the 21st annual Bulldog Jog, Run and Dog Walk.
The event begins at 9 a.m. on Butler's campus. The walk begins on Lake Road and proceeds through the Butler University campus and canal path. Registration for the event is $20 for the public and $15 for Butler students.
Those who would like to participate, but have not yet registered for the event can sign up in the lobby of the Health & Recreation Complex, which is just west of Hinkle Fieldhouse, from 8-8:45 a.m.
Proceeds from the jog benefit the Butler University Health and Recreation Complex Student Scholarship Fund and the Indiana Bulldog Rescue.
Butler mascots Blue II and Trip will serve as grand marshal for the event.
Participants are encouraged to bring items and supplies for Indiana Bulldog Rescue and Humane Society of Indianapolis.
