WISH Patrol to surprise toddler with rare condition

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — Two-year-old Ezra Hocking has spent much of his young life in and out of the hospital.

Less than a year ago, his family was shocked and confused when one of his arms suddenly stopped working.

After days of tests and consultations with specialists, doctors were able to determine Ezra had an astrocytoma tumor on his spinal cord. Surgery was the only option. That surgery, and the rehabilitation that followed, would prove to be the ultimate test for young Ezra and his family.

With the help of several generous central Indiana businesses, the WISH Patrol teamed up with the Little Wish Foundation to surprise Ezra and his family with the opportunity to make memories outside of a hospital room, and a gift that will help further Ezra’s recovery for years to come.
