INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) - WISH-TV announced Wednesday the premiere of its very own one-hour daily, LIVE, local, lifestyle-focused talk show called Indy Style . Fresh and in step with today’s viewer, Indy Style is the ultimate local source for living life to the fullest in Central Indiana.
From fashion to fitness and cooking to current trends, Indy Style will debut Monday, March 15, 2010 at 9 a.m.
Indy Style will be packed with fun and information showcasing the hottest local products and innovative services.
“ Indy Style fills a much-needed programming void in Central Indiana,” said Jeff White, WISH-TV president and general manager. “The show is a resource of unique local content for our audience unavailable anywhere else.”
Tracy Forner and Andi Hauser will co-host Indy Style from a new 360 degree set which provides opportunities for everything from workouts, live performances and demonstrations to runway shows featuring the newest fashion trends. This comfortable, stylish set features a fully functional kitchen designed by Indianapolis-based Kitchens By Design . Loaded with top-of-the-line gourmet appliances, the kitchen is the setting for both professional and amateur chefs to share their best recipes and techniques. The Indy Style studio home is warm and welcoming much like the hosts that inhabit it.
Tracy Forner brings an engaging hometown feel to Indy Style with his entertaining and upbeat personality. This father of three is no stranger to the kitchen or to daily life in the Midwest. Central Indiana audiences will remember him as the former morning news anchor for WXIN. He likes to think of himself as a home improvement nut with way too many tools and even more projects. Tracy lives in Brownsburg with his wife Elizabeth and their three children Ailish, Duncan and Beckett.
Andi Hauser adds spice and style to the Indy Style team. She returns home to the Midwest and to family in Indianapolis. With hosting and news experience in Spokane, Wash. and Sioux City, Iowa, Andi has spent the last few years working in Colorado. She’s a world traveler, SCUBA diver, speaks German and rides a motorcycle. Viewers are going to love her adventurous side. Andi and her dog Gatsby, named after her favorite character in the “The Great Gatsby,” are excited to make Central Indiana home.
Indy Style plans to feature daily audience interaction utilizing in-studio viewer segments, Skype cameras, LIVE texting, social media and a robust IndyStyle.tv Web site, also launching on March 15th
