Jim Shella is WISH-TV's political reporter, as well as host and producer of the Emmy-nominated "Indiana Week in Review."

Before coming to WISH-TV in 1982, Jim worked as a reporter for WOTV in Grand Rapids, Michigan. He began his career at WMT in Cedar Rapids, Iowa.

A native of Jasper, Minnesota, Shella attended St. Cloud State University, where he graduated with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Mass Communications.

While at WISH-TV, Jim has twice received the Sagamore of the Wabash. He was also awarded the Larry Conrad Award from the Indianapolis Press Club, as well as numerous Associated Press, UPI, and SPJ awards.

When not working, Jim is active in diabetes charities. Jim lives in Indianapolis with his wife, Connie.  They have two children.
