I'm excited to be here in the Hoosier state and to wake up with you as an anchor on Weekend Daybreak from 6 a.m. to 9 a.m.

I was born and raised in Denver, Colorado. I lived there for 24 years before taking my first job in television. Now that Peyton Manning is a Bronco, I look forward to cheering on the Denver Broncos as much as the Indianapolis Colts!

I attended Metropolitan State College of Denver and it wasn't until an intro to broadcasting class that I found my passion and love for this business. I became even more excited about the news when I anchored "The Metreport", Metro State's television station. While there, we won an Emmy Award for "Outstanding Student Achievement."

Beginning my professional career was a bit of a change moving four hours north to Casper, Wyoming. I was the main anchor and reporter for 3 years where I was awarded "Best Anchor" and Best Reporter" by the Wyoming Association of Broadcasters.

Packing up my belongings, I headed east till I hit the capitol of the Buckeye state. Columbus, OH was a busy place where I covered a variety of stories and quickly learned about the insanity of the Big Ten!
