Stations team up for big blood drive

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) - WISH-TV and MyINDY-TV partnered with the Indiana Blood Center for a blood drive on Wednesday.

A blood center trailer was at the WISH-TV/MyINDY-TV studios Wednesday morning so people could donate blood.

The initiative continues Wednesday afternoon and evening, as finalists for MyINDY-TV’s contest for next Face plan to appear at the blood drives.

People interested in donating can do so at the following locations from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.:

3420 N. Meridian St., Indianapolis
7458 E. Fishers Station Drive, Fishers
726 Adams St., Suite 150, Carmel
7655 U.S. Highway 36, Avon
8725 U.S. Highway 31 South, Greenwood

At all five locations, anyone donating blood can register to win VIP tickets to Rascal Flatts and Indianapolis Colts and Indians games and everyone will receive a coupon for ice cream from Dairy Queen.
