A man found guilty of two murders at a birthday party in 2010 …
There is an Indianapolis connection up close and on the red carpet at the Grammys.
Jen Beaver spent more than a decade in Indianapolis working for the Colts, the Pacers and the Indianapolis Ice. She still calls Indianapolis home and was one of the most connected to the stars and celebrities in Indianapolis at the Super Bowl. As the owner of All Access Promotions, she had the infamous list of people to get into parties.
Beaver was at the Beverly Hills Hilton hotel Saturday night when the body of Whitney Houston was found. She describes it as, "It was like nothing I have ever seen. There was so much traffic and media everywhere and camera crews and you couldn't even get through."
She and her sister in law from Indianapolis are on the red carpet taking pictures of the gals from Ellen among others. The view from their seats shows how close to the stage they sat but Beaver says all the talk at the Grammys is about the death of Whitney Houston.
Beaver says, "I'm at the Grammys now, it's in the middle of the live show and every time there is a commercial break they've go these videos of Whitney on screen. To have that happen hours before Clive's party that was protégé. She was the Grammy's for so long. But they are celebrating her as well. Tonight seems more like, the mood here isn't somber it is definitely a celebration."
Beaver says there were 30,000 tweets on Twitter in the first minute after Whitney Houston died. She says the entire city of Los Angeles knew within the hour.
