BENNINGTON, Ind. (AP) - A residential camp for children in southeastern Indiana is closing temporarily after five confirmed cases of H1N1 flu.

Camp Livingston director Ben Davis says the camp near the Switzerland County Community of Bennington will close for at least seven days to try to break the cycle of infection among campers and staff.

The camp's Web site describes itself as primarily for Jewish children in grades 3-11 from Indiana, Kentucky and Ohio. It is about 20 miles southwest of Cincinnati.

State health officials say the agency is monitoring the health of those associated with the camp. Health officials say the camp cases bring the state total of confirmed H1N1 flu cases to 256.
