Jackson Co. woman dies from H1N1-related illness

JACKSON COUNTY, Ind. (WISH) - Jackson County Health Department health officer Dr. Kenneth Bobb has confirmed its first death associated with the H1N1 flu.

A 52-year-old woman, who died on Oct. 15, had pneumonia which was complicated by H1N1 flu.

The woman had other chronic health problems, according to a statement released Monday. No other information about the woman was being released at the request of the family.
