INDIANAPOLIS (AP) - Six more Indiana H1N1 flu deaths were reported last week, even as the number of people hospitalized with flu symptoms continued to drop.
Six confirmed H1N1 deaths were reported in the week that ended Saturday, bringing the total number of H1N1 flu deaths to 28 since June 1. ( Click here to read weekly reports from health department)
State health department medical director Joan Duwve said the
deaths are a stark reminder that the H1N1 flu is still a problem.

being hospitalized with flu symptoms and that reported deaths often
lag behind a spike in hospitalizations.
Officials aren't sure whether H1N1 flu will increase next
week during Thanksgiving travel. Duwve said sick people should
avoid travel.
