INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) - The H1N1 vaccination clinic scheduled for Thursday by the Marion County Health Department has been postponed due to winter storm predictions.
“We are concerned the conditions would make it difficult for many of our residents to come to the clinic, so we thought it was best to postpone it by one week,” said Dr. Virginia A. Caine.
The health department will hold the rescheduled H1N1 clinic on Thursday, January 14, from 3 p.m. until 7 p.m. at the Primo South Banquet Hall and Conference Center, 2615 National Avenue.
This is the first clinic for the general public sponsored by the Marion County Health Department. Previous clinics have been reserved for those in the at-risk group.
Those planning on attending the clinic can fill out their consent forms in advance by printing the form from www.mchd.com under the H1N1 link. The form is available in English and Spanish.
There is no charge for this clinic and it is open to the general
public.
