Art of Metalsmithing

"STRIKING FLINTS"

Opening reception Friday June 1st six to nine pm

Andrea Jackson, one of Indy's finest metalsmith and jewelry designers, will be the featured artist for June. Jackson maintains FC Drea studio at the Stutz and teaches metalsmithing/jewelry design at The Herron School of Art and Design.

For this exhibit, Jackson will also include the work of her current and past students from Herron, her mentor at Ball State Patricia Nelson, Nelson's students and a number of local metalsmiths.

This will be a major event in the area of metalsmithing in Indianapolis. It will include finished works, the design process, drawings, models, documentation and a power point presentation that introduces the work and the artists.
