Kylend Hetherington  “Billy Elliot” and Samantha Cutler –“Debbie” are two cast members of “Billie Elliot” and today on Indy Style they discuss the show at the Old National Centre Nov. 13 – 18th.
Both child actors chat at their roles and life on the road. At the end of the interview, Kylend and Samantha teach Tracy how to do the "Billy Jump"!

Indy’s 2012-2013 Broadway season will open with the Tony Award winning musical ‘Billy Elliot’. This inspiring production will play the Murat Theatre at Old National Centre from November 13 to 18, 2012.

Gritty yet inspiring, ‘Billy Elliot’ is a juxtaposition of the bleak lives of Northern England coalminers and Billy’s strong passion for ballet. Their struggles, goals and ideals may be different, but it is Billy’s strong and unwavering perseverance and determination that bring his family and community together in achieving their goals amidst the historic Coalminers’ Strike of the early ‘80s. This musical shows how the power of dreams can unify people and transform their miserable dispositions by having something to aspire for, work for and look forward to.

Show times for ‘Billy Elliot’ in Indianapolis are at 7:30 PM from November 13 to 15, 8 PM on November 16 and 17, and 6:30 PM on November 18, with matinee performances at 2 PM on the 17th and 1 PM on the 18th. The performance running time is 2 hours and 45 minutes with 1 intermission.
