Pete the Planner takes a look at how Indiana stacks up to the rest of the county when it comes to affordability of care of your child. On average it cost $9,200 a year for child care in a care facility.

The costs are broken down into three age groups: infant care, 4-year-old care and school-age care. The annual costs listed above are for child care centers, not family child care.

The good new is the older the child gets the less child care cost but other cost increase. Learn which state child care cost the most and which it cost the least.
