Dave Barry, humorist and author

It’s not like one of America’s favorite Pulitzer Prize-winning humorists hasn’t been busy.

He’s got a Tony Award-winning show on Broadway, Peter and the Starcatcher, based on one of his Peter Pan novels.  And his critically-acclaimed recent collaboration with Alan Zweibel, Lunatics, was bought by the movies for a film to star Steve Carrell.  Now, he’s back with Insane City, a rollicking, outrageous, big-hearted comic suspense story that romps through Barry’s colorfully demented hometown of Miami.

It follows Seth Weinstein, an underachieving groom-to-be, and his numbskull groom posse en route to his destination wedding in Florida, and the laugh-out-loud shenanigans that ensue prove once again why The New York Times calls Barry “The Funniest Man in America.”
