Event Summary: Midwest Fashion Week is celebrating 5 years of inclusive fashion and community support, so it’s time to celebrate! Since Berny Martin made the bold move to start MFW in October 2006 we have come a long way. Join us as we look back, look ahead, and pay tribute to our supporters, community partners, and sponsors. We’ll also feature a gallery of artwork from local home fashion designers. A portion of proceeds from this event will benefit the SOHO organization.

Event title: Empowerment Revealed: An ImageCube Naturally You Makeover Reveal presented by Midwest Fashion Week & MePower Events

Event Summary: After six months of personal training boot camp, image consulting, life coaching, facial treatments, and air-brush tanning, the ImageCube Naturally You Makeover winner will be revealed. This occasion highlights the importance recharging and finding some "me" time. Guests will enjoy offerings from an array of vendors to re-energize, indulge the senses, and gift bags to enjoy. VIP guests will be treated to signature MFW gift bags, hors d’oeuvres, specialty cocktails, priority seating, and music by DJ Gabby Love. A fashion show including designs from local boutiques, designers, and tenants of the Fashion Mall at Keystone will also take place with a portion of proceeds going to benefit the I.W.I.N. Foundation of Indiana and their breast cancer programs.

Event Summary: You're invited to Sensu, Indy's most exciting new place to see and be seen. Sensu will feature an Asian-fusion prix fixe MFW menu that will ignite your senses. Be here for the fashion show that will amplify the creativity of the designers while capturing the energy and brilliance of an atmosphere only Sensu can offer. After the fashion show the fun continues with sleek cocktails, fine wines, and exquisite sakes; mingle in the dining area overlooking the dance floor, or saunter down to the nightclub to officially arrive at the party. A portion of proceeds from this event will benefit the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.

Event Summary: Fashion is Empowerment refers to MFW's core value of utilizing fashion to highlight different philanthropic interests. Each year MFW empowers artists, stylists, and fashion designers to grow their career while also positively impacting the Indiana economy and the economies of many surrounding states. In Spring 2011, MFW helped Down Syndrome Indiana raise over $70,000 and featured the works of more than 20 designers. The grand finale show for Fall 2011 will benefit the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation including an exclusive VIP party featuring DJ Gabby Love, specialty cocktails from Smirnoff Vodka, signature MFW gift bags, and priority seating. Watch the runway come alive with fashion featuring the Spring/Summer 2012 collections of six designers representing Tennessee, Ohio, Indiana, South Africa, and Ukraine. After the show, light up the night with a dance-powered after party at the Murat Theater as rival DJ's go head to head to get you moving to the sounds of the latest beats.
