Fashion Fix: Help!  How do I start to detox my overflowing closet? I’m ready to shop for spring, but I already have so much.

Sola A. Adelowo, AICI FLC, Founder & Certified Image Consultant with ImageCube, LLC has tips on how you can overhaul your wardrobe for spring.

TIPS:

1. Take inventory of based on your personal style, occasions / roles, & flattering fit.

2. Then PURGE: Three steps to better wardrobe purging:

A. One bag for clothes you don’t wear because they don’t suit your personal style, occasions / roles, or unflattering fit.

B. One box for redeemable items.  These are the clothes you love but never got around to fixing the button, or the pants that need hemming. Tailorable items.

C. Leave only the clothes that serve as your wardrobe basics & accent pieces that will transition easily into with warmer weather and your upcoming roles /occasions.
