Things you'll need
Measuring tape
Scissors or snap off knife
Mineral Spirits
Window Insulation Film Kit
First Step
Do not install plastic film to wallboard, plaster, veneer paneling or mahogany molding.
Second Step
Clean & Dry window molding
Third Step
Apply two sided tape.
Peel off one side and stick
Fourth Step
Measure window & unfold plastic and cut to size.
Fifth Step
Press film lightly to the tape at the top of the molding.
Make film tight to avoid wrinkles and attach to the tape at the bottom and sides.
Sixth Step
Shrink film with hair dryer.
Be sure not to let the hair dryer touch the plastic.
Seventh Step
Trim excess film.
Clean film with a damp cloth.
