Senior Medicare Patrol

Tamra Simpson, program director, for Senior Medicare Patrol has the  goal  to help seniors protect themselves from scams: 35% of older people will be a victim of financial fraud in their lifetime.

Senior Medicare Patrol is a nonprofit; not tied at all to any businesses. In fact, they are a program of the Indiana Association of Area Agencies on Aging (nonprofit). SMP is working to help Medicare and Medicaid beneficiaries avoid, detect, prevent and report health care fraud. They have great tips, information and resources they can share.
