Jon Jenkins a nationally known promoter of many of the country’s finest antique shows and the best flea markets brings examples of some of the items you can find at the new Indie Arts and Vintage Marketplace. He has tips on how to decorate with Vintage and how to find some of the best bargains.

Indie Arts and Vintage Marketplace is a monthly marketplace to showcase our local style makers and style breakers who specialize in vintage, antique, upcycled, recycled and junque…as well as the best regional artisans, craftspersons, and foodists.

Upcoming marketplaces run June 2, June 30 th, August 4 th and September 1, 2012 from 9am – 4pm at the Glendale Town Center parking lot on the east side of the mall, located near 2 nd & Keystone.  This is a highly visible location, adjacent to the Broad Ripple Arts district and has plenty of parking for customers and admission is only $4.

The marketplace enhances the experience of living as a more responsible consumer by promoting the benefits and downright fun of antique, vintage, locally sourced, recycled, and upcycled goods.

This monthly market has over 80 purveyors of vintage, antique, junque, artisans, craftspersons, local gourmands, stylemakers and stylebreakers on site to celebrate all things unique, indie and stylist.

Food is provided by the likes of Taste of New York, Scout’s Cupcakes, Slider Station and Taco Lassi with beer from Sun King Brewery.
