The first question in most people's mind is.. Why should I bother to recycle? That
one's a no-brainer: the environment, of course.

Two words that are becoming very chic in DIY Discussions are Repurposing & Sustainability. Recycling is an important part of a sustainable lifestyle. It doesn't just have to be a green act of good will; it really can add a little extra cash to your wallet as well.

Recycling for money sure won't make you a millionaire, but these days every penny counts.
So, cash in on your good conscience with these items.

BENEFITS: 1- LESS ENERGY
Compared to mining and smelting, recycling aluminum drink cans is far less energy intensive. Recycling aluminum requires only 5% of the energy and produces only 5% of the CO2
emissions as compared with primary production.
A recycled aluminum can saves enough energy to run a television for three hours.
Plus you make money while getting the benefits of sustainability

Things needed:

Step #1

Identify the area you wish to turn into your recycle center.

I recommend in your kitchen pantry, if you have the room or your garage

Step #2

Prepare the surface by marking holes (use a stud finder).

Step #3

Drill or use screwdriver to install unit

Step #4

Start crushing and begin collecting the dollars

Step #5

Place crushed cans into a recycle container.

Did you know that new cans can be repurposed and back on the shelf in as little as six weeks. That's sustainability...

Step #6

Take your cans to a recycle center. Omni source is a great place to deliver. You can receive up to .02 per can.

If you do not want to bother taking them to a recycle center. Bring them to us and we will note your donation to nonprofit organizations that we support.
