Ted Williams, the man who rose from panhandling on the streets of Columbus to national celebrity because of his golden voice, will appear at the Indiana Black Expo’s Summer Celebration July 19 through 22.
Williams will be on hand from 10-12 and 3-5, Friday-Sunday to meet attendees, share his message of hope and redemption and sign copies of his new book “A Golden Voice.” Proceeds of book sales will go to The Ted Williams Project, a charitable organization Ted formed to provide assistance to organizations aiding the homeless. We will also be giving away free gifts for any donation of $5.00 or more made to Ted’s Project.
The Summer Celebration is an 11-day exposition where visitors experience a wide variety of top notch accommodations, venues and restaurants. Summer Celebration provides participants with the nation's most respected and sought after artists, celebrities, businesses, government and community leaders. The celebration offers music entertainment, business enhancement workshops, children’s activities, health fairs, cultural arts exhibits and shopping opportunities. The event takes place at the Indian Convention Center, 100 S. Capitol Avenue, Indianapolis, IN 46235.
