Pamela Mougin, a native Hoosier, and an international photographic artist, evokes a bold, imaginative style through her portraiture, fine art and photographic furniture.ff
Mougin’s international reputation comes from over twenty years of creating art for the famous and intensely private.

Strikingly original, her images combine photography with alternative techniques to create one-of-a-kind originals utilizing fabric, canvas, glass and stone to create functional art and a unique style.

Known for her black-and-white images and hand-painted portraits, Mougin has grown from portraiture, maintaining only her most loyal clients as she has entered the artistic world of furniture design, equestrian imagery, public art commissions and special exhibits such as the one showcasing this month. "Mystery Angels" is a special holiday pop-up show which launched for the first time last year over New Years weekend in French Lick as a Tribute to the late Bill Cook, who passed away last year. The show received overwhelming great reviews and an audience of over 400 people in 3 days. Pamela is currently back in Indianapolis to launch the second "Mystery Angel" exhibit. She has added a few new features to the show this year.

In the 2013, Pamela will be creating and planning her upcoming "Retrospective of the Warehouse Years, the show is titled "DARKROOM" and will kick off her

relocation back home to Indiana. The show will most likely be showcased at the Carmel Design Center and will only feature the artist images shot in Indiana between 1987-1999 during her studio years in Indianapolis. Interestingly, most of the images have never been seen before, and she is adamant about the images being raw, unretouched and completely authentic as captured through her vision and lens.

Pamela still travels globally to capture images, but has recently relocated her studio to 1134 E. 54th Street SteL Indianapolis, In 46220 Currently under renovation, scheduled to be open in the spring. Pamela can be contacted via email, or facebook. pamela@mouginstudio.com You can find her on Facebook under both Pamela Mougin and Mougin Studio.
