Basics of home canning

Suzanne Krowiak  shows you the basics of home canning and where you can take classes!

Indy Food Swappers is teaming up with Slow Food Indy and the hospitality program at Ivy Tech Community College to teach a canning class on Sunday, September 30th (2-5pm) at the brand new Ivy Tech Culinary Center.

This is a single-session, hands-on canning class that is open to the public. This is a beginner class, where participants will work in small groups to learn about canning, one of the most popular forms of food preservation www.indyfoodswappers.com
