Richard and Karen where both laid off from work with free time on their hands they began bird watching. It was a inexpensive hobby that gave them something to do while looking for work. Richard is a woodworker and has a shop in their garage and before you know it Birdbrain Woodworks was established.
A week ago, he was employed by Lowes Lumber Company. However, he continues to run the business he started while he was laid off. The beauty of this business is that they repurposed wood items that would otherwise be in landfills. They are able to keep our prices really low due to the fact that we get our wood from dumpsters located in new housing areas.
