Fever's Title IX Night

 June 21 is Title IX Night  which will feature not only Ann Meyers but the “Father of Title IX,” former U.S. Senator Birch Bayh. There is full summer of celebration activities planned to honor the 40th Anniversary of Title IX.

Other special guest for Title IX Night include Judge Sarah Evans Barker, Kathrine Davis, Sue Anne Gilroy and Myra Selby.

To celebrate the 40th Anniversary of Title IX, the Indiana Fever will hold a silent auction to raise money for the Women’s Fund of Central Indiana. Proceeds will also go toward providing opportunities for young girls to attend future Indiana Fever basketball games. On Thursday, June 21, the Fever will auction off ‘9’ items – called the Women’s Empowerment collectors series.

WISH-TV's Indy Style co-host Andi Hauser will emcee the event.
