How to incorporate 3rd layers in your wardrobe

The assumption is that everyone walks out of the house with at least two layers on — a bottom and a top. The third layer would be a blazer or cardigan that you wear over the top that you can leave on all day.  We want to be clear that a third layer is not your outerwear (i.e. coat) that you wear to work but then take off when you arrive.  The third layer will be a piece that you leave on all day.  No matter what you have on, a third layer tends to give an outfit a finished, polished look.
