Anytime is a great time to visit the Eugene and Marilyn Glick Indiana History Center, but the Indiana Historical Society (IHS) will offer extra opportunities for guests to immerse themselves in the facts and fun of Indiana’s history this holiday season. The
History Center, home of the IHS and its Indiana Experience, is located at 450 W. Ohio St. in downtown Indianapolis.
Now through Jan. 5, step into a scene from A Christmas Story for a fun photo op or enjoy Eli Lilly Hall’s holiday transformation into a gorgeous tree-filled white winter wonderland featuring beautiful handmade star lanterns. Guests are invited to step into a scene from A Christmas Story for a fun photo op with the infamous leg lamp—with or without bunny suits. Visitors can also travel back to many other places and times with the interactive and hi-tech elements of the Indiana Experience, which brings the wealth of IHS’s extensive collections to life in meaningful and enjoyable ways.
All IHS holiday activities are included with admission to the Indiana Historical Society’s Indiana Experience. For more information on holiday hours and offerings, call (317) 232-1882 or visit www.indianahistory.org .
