John Harden Project

The John Harden Project (JHP) a is self-titled soulful, passionate jazz ensemble coming out of Indianapolis, Indiana. It is a sound and concept that is constantly being developed and explored by the founder, John. “I have an elaborate list of influences that I was exposed to at an early age. These influences range from Miles Davis to Heat Wave, from Carlos Santana to Sonny Stitt." While the foundation of the project's sound is deeply rooted in jazz, it is in no way limited to performing jazz. The true purpose of this project is to simply give powerful and compelling performances that will represent this art to the highest level. The music at times is aggressive, edgy, calming, mellow, groovin' and at other times swings like there is no tomorrow.
