Nap Town Chickens

The 2nd annual Nap Town Chickens (NTC) Tour de Coops, presented by Pet Supplies Plus, will take place on Sunday, September 16, 1pm-6pm.
Last year’s inaugural event was a terrific success with over 500 people in attendance and this year numbers are expecting to double. The self-guided tour will start at CFI #84 (440 E. 57th St., 46220).
Participants are encouraged to tour the 12 chicken coops in the northern neighborhoods of Broad Ripple, Butler-Tarkington, Meridian-Kessler and Rocky Ripple by bicycle but cars are still very welcome.
Maps, also serving as tickets for the event, are currently being sold online at www.naptownchickens.org at a discount, but day of tickets will also be available for $10/person. A portion of proceeds will benefit one lucky area-school that will receive a free chicken coop and chickens through NTC’s “Project Poultry” program.
