What does Moise Fokou, the Zest! Exciting Food Creations Chef and gourmet popcorn have in common? They are all going to be at the first annual Root 53 Great Indiana Culinary Clash Hosted by Moise Fokou on December 3rd at City Market from 6-9 PM.
Colts Linebacker Moise Fokou is going to host this Chef competition in the popular City Market. Famed local chefs Valerie Vanderpool of Zest, Vicki Higuera of Fire by the Monon, Brad Gates of City Market and Brock Jenkins of Divvy show off their culinary skills and compete for the Best Chef in Indiana title. WISH-TV Indy Style's Andi Hauser will be emceeing the evening.
Fokou started his Root 53 Foundation during the summer of 2012, when after reflection, he knew it was time to give back to underprivileged youth in the cities and neighborhoods he's from and that he currently touches. Fokou's foundation aids underprivileged youth by donating school supplies, holding events that promote education, football camps and more.
