Meet a “Sister Act” cast member Ta’rea Campbell and learn more about the show playing now - March 3 at Old National Centre.

Rejoice not only for the arrival of spring but for the arrival of Broadway’s most glorious and feel-amazing musical in Indy! ‘Sister Act’, the funniest Broadway adaptation of last season will play the Murat Theatre at Old National Centre from February 26 to March 3, 2013.

A joyous musical of life-transforming and action-packed proportions, ‘Sister Act’ follows high-rolling club diva Deloris Van Cartier in her journey from a life of glitter and glamour, to a life of prayer, piety, friendship and worship. After witnessing a crime, Deloris is sent away to a convent. In a place where quiescence, calmness and solemnity are virtuous, there was no room for Deloris’ lively and vibrant persona. But with the help of her new nun BFFs and the watchful eye of the Mother Superior, Deloris realized she need not box her personality and talents in a place that could use a little life and color and definitely more celebratory music. She put her creative people and music skills to good use for the betterment of the convent and the happiness of her soul.

Show times for ‘Sister Act’ in Indianapolis are at 7:30 PM from February 26 to 28, 8 PM on March 1 and 2, and 6:30 PM on March 3, with matinee performances at 2 PM on March 2 and 1 PM on March 3. The performance running time is 2 hours 55 minutes with 1 intermission.
