NATIONWIDE SEARCH FOR WOMEN WHO ARE TRANSFORMING AMERICA!
MAKERS Seeks Six Extraordinary Women to be Featured on Landmark Website Alongside America’s Most Iconic Women.
Who will be the Next MAKERS to follow in the footsteps of such iconic women as Hilary Clinton, Geraldine Ferraro, Billy Jean King, Sandra Day O’Connor, Gloria Steinem, Martha Stewart, and Barbara Walters, among others?

MAKERS: Women Who Make America, a landmark digital video and broadcast platform that aims to become the largest and most dynamic collection of women’s stories ever captured on video, is partnering with Unilever’s Simple® facial skin-care brand to conduct a nationwide search for six remarkable women to join the ranks as one of America’s “Next MAKERS”.

The Next MAKERS will be considered based on accomplishments large and small, as well as their leadership, activism, and positive social impact.  Simple® will join MAKERS in saluting these women who have made America great by awarding each Next MAKER with a $10,000 grant so they can continue to follow their dreams and do great work in their communities.  The Next MAKERS will be flown to New York City to attend an intimate dinner hosted by MAKERS and Simple® and film their stories with the award-winning MAKERS filmmaking team. Anyone eighteen years or older can submit an entry for either themselves or for someone they know until 12:00 PM EST September 27, 2012 on MAKERS.Com/NextMAKERS.

Anyone can submit an entry for either themselves or for someone they know through October 4 on MAKERS.Com/NextMAKERS.
