Health Bowl

HealthBowl is part of the first Fan Event of the Super Bowl in Indianapolis and is made up of a 5K run/walk and a health fair. The health fair is free and open to the public. Hours are 9 am – 2 pm at Arsenal Technical High School. 

The registration fee for the run/walk is $20 in advance and $25 at the door. All proceeds from the run/walk will benefit the on-going work of the Near Eastside's Quality of Life Plan and the 2012 Super Bowl Host Committee's Legacy Project  Activities include health screenings for adults and children, physical activities, Xbox Kinect and arts and crafts, among others.  

There is something here for the whole family … enjoy a free bite at the healthy cooking demo or try a quick Zumba class.  Participate in the Anthem Step Challenge. There will be plenty of free give-aways and prizes throughout the morning including Xbox Stations!

Laila Ali, the four-time undefeated World Champion Boxer and fitness and wellness expert will be one of our very special guests!

Health Fair Events include:

o       Health Screenings: blood pressure/cholesterol/blood glucose/dental/hearing/vision/body mass index (BMI)/bone density

o       Xbox Kinect Fitness Games

o       Healthy Cooking Demos

o       Children’s Crafts

o       Pass, Snap and Kick Clinic (hosted by football coaches)

o       Play 60/HOPS Children’s Fitness

o       Kid’s Photo Booth: MVP photo wearing team gear of choice on football field background

o       Near Eastside Resource Center

o       Zumba Fitness Classes

o       Bring Back Recess: Fitness Activities: Hula Hoop, Jump Rope, Hop Scotch, Four-Square, Corn Hole
