Amazing Taste spice packets are based on years of reach on what herds and spices bring out and enhance the flavor of meat. Adam Taki shows you two simple recipes that will turning a mundane meal into amazing!

Remember you can find Amazing Taste in the meat section of your local Kroger Store.

Pineapple Salsa Pork Chops

Pork Chops, 4, approximately ¾ inch thick
pineapple, 6 rings, cut in ½ inch thick slices, fresh or canned
jalapeno, 1, halved lengthwise, seeds & veins removed
cilantro, 2 tablespoons, rinsed & chopped
fresh lime juice, 2 tablespoons
Amazing Taste® Pork seasoning, ½ packet

For pork chops:

Sprinkle both sides of the pork chops with Amazing Taste Pork seasoning, coating evenly.
Heat grill to MEDIUM-HIGH heat and oil the surface of the grill. Grill the pork until it’s internal temperature reaches a minimum of 145° F, approximately 4 to 5 minutes per side. Remove chops from the grill and let them rest for 5 minutes.

For pineapple salsa:

While pork chops are cooking, grill the cut pineapple and jalapenos lightly on each side*.
Dice pineapple and jalapeño.
Combine pineapple, jalapeno, cilantro and lime juice in a small bowl. Stir together gently, creating your salsa.
Serve your pork chops with salsa drizzled on top, or off to the side for dipping.

Tip: Did you know… The longer you grill the jalapeno the milder it becomes.

1 hour and 45 minutes start to finish SERVES 4

Margarita Baby Back Ribs

baby back ribs, 2 pounds

margarita mix, ½ cup (your favorite flavor)

Amazing Taste® Pork seasoning, 1 packet

Preheat oven to 300°F.

Place the baby back ribs on an ovenproof platter or dish. In a bowl, combine margarita mix and Amazing Taste® Pork seasoning. Mix the ingredients together well. Coat the ribs on all sides with the margarita marinade.

Put the tray in the oven and bake for about 1 ½ hours, until the meat slips right from the bone. Tender and soft is what we are looking for.

Serve, enjoy and don’t worry about sticky fingers as a few damp napkins or wipes will keep you presentable.
