Simon Pagenaud, driver of the No. 77 Schmidt Hamilton HP Motorsports car in the IZOD IndyCar Series, will take off his helmet and don a chef's hat to make crepes with local crepe makers "3 Days in Paris" at Indianapolis' historic City Market on Feb. 21.
The Frenchman, often compared to the French racing driver character Jean Girard from "Talladega Nights," frequently makes crepes at home. The 2012 IZOD IndyCar Series Rookie of the Year has refused to acknowledge whether or not all French people know how to make crepes at birth.
Pagenaud will serve up street style crepes along with other crepe artists from 10:30 - 11:30 a.m. at the "3 Days in Paris" kiosk in City Market on Feb. 21.
