Back Home Again Pancakes

Pouch of Dezzie Dough Wild Blueberry Pancakes

Breakfast sausage links

Maple syrup for dipping

Preheat your griddle for 10-15 minutes on medium heat. Spray with non-stick cooking spray. While griddle is heating, cook breakfast sausage links in a separate pan. Cook one large pancake until slightly browned and cooked through. Hint: keep pancake to a manageable size for flipping. Once cooked, wrap around the sausage link. Serve with maple syrup for dipping if desired. Note: This recipe can also make blueberry pancake sausage sandwiches if you cook two pancakes and use breakfast sausage patties.

Dezzie Dough Monte Cristo

Pouch of Dezzie Dough Buttermilk Pancakes

Deli Ham

Swiss Cheese

Strawberry chutney or jam

1/3 cup milk

2 eggs

Preheat your griddle for 10-15 minutes on medium heat. Spray with non-stick cooking spray. While it’s heating, beat eggs and milk in a bowl to make a French toast egg mixture. Undercook two Dezzie Dough Buttermilk Pancakes (very light brown, but done in the middle). Layer 2-3 slices of ham, a slice of Swiss cheese and a spread of your favorite chutney or jam. Quickly dip entire sandwich in French toast egg mixture and cook both sides on griddle until golden brown, and cheese is melted.

Cinnamon Roll Pancakes

Pouch of Dezzie Dough Buttermilk Pancakes

2/3 cup of pecans

3 tablespoons maple syrup

1 1/2 teaspoons cinnamon

Glaze:

1/2 cup powdered sugar

2 1/2 teaspoons water

Preheat your griddle for 10-15 minutes on medium heat. You may also use a frying pan. While your griddle is heating up, toast your pecans in a dry skillet over medium heat. When they start becoming fragrant, put them in a small food processor or blender and add maple syrup and cinnamon. Pulse until mixture creates a paste. Spray griddle with non-stick cooking spray and cook your Dezzie Dough Buttermilk Pancakes. When your pancakes are ready, place a little bit of your pecan-maple paste in the center of each pancake and roll it up. For glaze, combine powdered sugar and water in small bowl; stir until smooth. Drizzle over hot pancake rolls.

Elvis Waffles

Pouch of Dezzie Dough Buttermilk or Chocolate chip Pancakes

1 ripe sliced banana

Peanut butter for spreading

Bacon

Chocolate syrup (optional)

Preheat your waffle iron for 10-15 minutes on medium heat. When fully heated, spray it with non-stick cooking spray. Then fill the iron with Dezzie Dough Buttermilk or Chocolate Chip Pancake batter and sprinkle bacon in the batter. When the waffle is ready, slather it with peanut butter. Top with sliced banana and chocolate syrup.
