The NHRA Full Throttle "Real Families" 2012 Racing Calendar features Families from NHRA Top Fuel, Funny Car, Pro Stock and Pro Stock Bike. This full color calendar spans 18 months from 2012 through 2013 and proceeds are a fund raiser benefiting Children's Cancer Research through Indiana University Simon Cancer Center Radiation Oncology.
According to Children’s Cancer Fund of America, each day, 46 children are diagnosed with some form of cancer. Even with the remarkable progress of cancer treatments, childhood cancer is still responsible for claiming more lives of children and teens every year than any other disease. However, due to success in pediatric oncology research, the rate of survival is improving.
The financial support received from the sales of the calendar and donations to the project will go directly to pediatric cancer research, where they will have the most impact and be able to make a significant difference in many families’ lives.
