Participants should gather on the parking lot of Crispus Attucks Medical Magnet High School, 1140 Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Street, beginning at 9:30am. After brief comments from various sponsors the walk will begin (we will describe the route when we appear on the show. The purpose of this event is to acknowledge and honor the great African-American "do-for-self" entrepreneurial spirit exemplified by Madame Walker and to also highlight the Cultural contributions that many other African-Americans have made in shaping Indiana history.Tracing The Footsteps Of A Legacy The Randolph family are the owners of the "original" Madame C. J. Walker Manufacturing Company, doing business today as Madame C.J. Walker Enterprises, Inc. We manufacture and sell the "original" hair care products in addition to 4 new products which were added in January 2010.
