Tracing The Footsteps Of A Legacy

The actual date of Incorporation was 09/19/1911.
The event takes place on Saturday, September 24th from 10:00am to 2:00pm. Participants should gather on the parking lot of Crispus Attucks Medical Magnet High School, 1140 Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Street, beginning at 9:30am. After brief comments from various sponsors the walk will begin (we will describe the route when we appear on the show. The purpose of this event is to acknowledge and honor the great African-American "do-for-self" entrepreneurial spirit exemplified by Madame Walker and to also highlight the Cultural contributions that many other African-Americans have made in shaping Indiana history.Tracing The Footsteps Of A Legacy The Randolph family are the owners of the "original" Madame C. J. Walker Manufacturing Company, doing business today as Madame C.J. Walker Enterprises, Inc. We manufacture and sell the "original" hair care products in addition to 4 new products which were added in January 2010. Tracing The Footsteps Of A Legacy is a free community-wide event celebrating the 100th year of the Company's Incorporation in Indianapolis. The actual date of Incorporation was 09/19/1911.
