Coconut Milk and Oil from the Tree of Life

Since the 1930’s we’ve been brainwashed that tropical oils were bad for our hearts. Well, that was the result of a smear campaign by the corn and soy industry to get Americans to purchase less nutritious corn and soy oil.

It’s patriotic to support our own products, but the health virtues of coconut oil are 100 time more potent than corn, canola and soy. Sorry.

The health and nutritional benefits that can be derived from consuming coconut oil have been recognized and documented in many parts of the world for centuries. If the label reads hydrogenated coconut oil, throw it as far as you can towards the trash barrel. You want virgin organic coconut oil.

The saturated fat in coconut oil is unlike the fat found in meat or other vegetables fats. It is identical to a special group of fats found in human breast milk which have been shown to improve digestion, strengthen the immune system, and protect against bacterial, viral, and fungal infections. Your body doesn’t processes coconut oil the same as barn animal fat.

The Weston Price Foundation says there are many important positive health benefits seen for coconut oil. These benefits stem from coconut oil's use as a food with major antimicrobial and anticancer benefits. Only recently has modern medical research confirmed the many health benefits traditionally attributed to this remarkable oil.

You should definitely give coconut oil a chance for your sautéing and cooking needs. It does not form dangerous Trans fatty acids and has a very high smoking point.

Coconut oil has been called the “healthiest dietary oil on earth." If you’re not using coconut oil for your daily cooking and body care needs … introduce yourselves.
