Fishers-area police chase ends in crash

Fishers, Ind. (WISH) - A police chase ended in a crash in Hamilton County overnight.  Police say the incident happened on 116th Street and Commecial Drive, that's near I-69.

Deputies say they believe a man was drunk when he took off on 116th Street near Hazel Dell around 2 o'clock Sunday morning.  That's when the pursuit began.

Police say during the chase, the man hit another car, went into a ditch, and quickly surrendered.  The chase ended about 4 miles from where it started.

No one was seriously hurt.  Officers say the car involved was stolen.
