INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) - A holiday tradition is back on. This year's 4th of July fireworks display in downtown Indianapolis is no longer in jeopardy.
24 hour news 8 has learned that funding has been secured for this year's event.
Regions Bank had been looking for additional money to put on the 4th of July fireworks.
Clear Channel radio and WISH-TV have pledged their support for this year.
Right now, it's not known who else jumped on board to save this year's show.
It's still not clear what the long term future is for this event.
More details on this year's 4th of July downtown fireworks will be released soon.
