INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) - Indiana State Police have been very busy Wednesday morning responding to 97 crashes or slide-offs from about 6 a.m. through 10:30 a.m.
Police blame drivers for going too fast for the road conditions.
ISP also said I-65 is now open northbound at State Road 25. But, there is only one lane open on I-65 northbound at the 177.5 mile marker north of Lafayette, Indiana.
Meanwhile, the northbound ramp from S.R. 28 in Delaware County on I-69 is closed and should reopen by 11:30 a.m. All other lane restrictions previously reported on I-69 in Delaware and Grant counties have been cleared.
And, I-74 at the Illinois/Indiana state line is shut down westbound just east of the state line for a semi stopped across the road from a loss of control. A tow truck is on scene and the road should be cleared soon.
