INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) - A new survey finds strong support for mass transit in
The survey of people in nine counties shows 87% believe there's a need for additional transportation options. The strongest support is in Boone, Hamilton, and Hendricks counties.
"Our employers are deeply concerned in particular about the bus component of mass transit. They have difficulty getting their employees to the place of employment. And so we focused on that component," said Roland Dorson, Indianapolis Chamber of Commerce.
Two organizations sponsored the survey; The Greater Indianapolis Chamber of Commerce and The Metropolitan Indianapolis Board of Realtors.
