JOHNSON COUNTY, Ind. (WISH) - People come to Circle City Pizza on Bluff and County Line roads for the best pizza in town. But on December 30, two men drove up to the restaurant for the pop machine. Johnson County police said the men used a truck to steal a pop machine and the entire theft was caught on camera.

Justin Donica owns the pizza shop. He realized the pop machine was missing from outside when he showed up for work.

"It was shocking, I just filled it up the day before with drinks and stuff like that," said Donica.

He checked his security cameras to see what happened to it.

"My mouth dropped cause it was the first time that I actually seen or heard of somebody stealing a pop machine," said Donica.

When the men pulled up to the Circle City Pizza shop, they didn't realize every move they made was caught on camera. Six cameras throughout the restaurant captured their moves.

One camera even showed them load the pop machine into the back of a truck.

"It's pretty unusual to steal a large item like that, especially because it would be pretty obvious going down the road," said Detective Andy Barnhart of the Johnson County Sheriff's Department.

Detective Barnhart said one man was wearing a hooded sweatshirt and the other was wearing a jacket.

Donica said he hoped the suspects were thirsty because drinks will be all they will get.

"There wasn't a lot of money left in it because I just emptied it the day before," said Donica.

Detectives said the suspects were last seen in a 1990s model Chevy pickup truck with Euro-style taillights.

If you have any information about the theft, call Crime Stoppers at 262-TIPS.
