QUINCY, Fla. (WCTV/AP) - Several media outlets are reporting that the missing Fishers pilot, Marcus Schrenker, has been found alive at a campsite in Quincy, Florida. The reports indicate that Schrenker may have attempted suicide.
WCTV in Florida says Schrenker was arrested at the KOA campground in Chattahoochee, Florida. They report the Gadsden County Sheriff's Office and the Federal Fugitive Task Force of Leon County arrested Schrenker after he emailed a family member from the campground office.
WCTV also reports that the sheriff's department says Schrenker has been taken to Tallahassee Memorial Hospital because of several cuts on his wrists and will eventually be brought to the Gadsden County Jail or a federal detention center.
Earlier Tuesday, a judge ordered the arrest of the Fishers pilot on financial fraud charges. Schrenker has been on the run after, according to police, he staged a plane crash.
