GOSHEN, Ind. (AP) - Northern Indiana's embattled recreational vehicle industry is getting some good news.

Keystone RV announced Monday it will hire about 200 new employees for a 140,000-square-foot facility it is acquiring in Goshen.

Spokesman Jim Mac said demand for RVs is up from January and February. He expects the facility to be operating by late fall.

The building previously was owned by Dutchmen Manufacturing, another RV maker.

Dutchmen laid off 100 workers in February as part of a collapse of the RV industry that helped drive Elkhart County's jobless rate to 16.8% in June.
