Hansen & Horn owners back in court

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) - Lawyers for Hansen & Horn were back in the courtroom Thursday morning for a receivership hearing.

The plaintiff called several witnesses including the presidents of a concrete company and a lumber company. Both men said they're owed hundreds of thousands of dollars for past work completed.

Ward Horn, one of the owners of Hansen & Horn, took the stand to defend accusations of monies owed.

Boos came from some sitting in the court when Horn said that bills were paid for work done properly.

Lawyers for Hansen & Horn repeatedly asked throughout the hearing for a continuance citing not enough time to prepare since they are the new attorneys representing Hansen & Horn.

Judge Heather Welch denied that request saying all parties were given written and verbal notice of Thursday's hearing.

Court will resume at 12:30 p.m.
