INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) - Metro Police say three armed men who violently robbed two people in a home invasion got away with just $23.
It happened just before midnight at the Postbrook Apartments in the 4000 of North Wittfield – that’s near 42nd and Post on the northeast side.
Police say the men broke into the apartment and began demanding money. Investigators say the woman and two men who live in the apartment are known to sell candy.
Officers say one of the robbers forced one of the residents into a closet while the other two sexually assaulted the female resident.
Witnesses told our crew at the scene they could hear yelling coming from inside the apartment.
Investigators are still putting together descriptions on the three suspects.
This is a developing story. More information will be added as it becomes available.
